The UmmNiqaab saga is expanding...

As of 12pm est today I had over 200 views of the shady dealings of UmmNiqaab, I have received 13 emails and 11 inboxes from sisters who have been burned out of hundreds of dollars each. Calculations from just the past 24 hours is over $3000, her activities start back as far as 2009. Her original story was a "feel sorry for me" campaign for sisters to support her. She had photos of herself in a rag tag sweat suit and a faded khimar. Lets dissect this, if one is homeless, no where to go and sad that her husband threw her out into the street how do you get crystal clear photos, set up 2-3 sites for payment and advertising, phone, fabric and sewing machines. I know some of us have trials that leave us in situations that we become vulnerable. From that time she has married atleast 7 times, she has had business dealings with people in Phila all the way to Australia, in the past 24 hours people have contacted me from Australia about the stories they received on why they didn't get their clothing.
The reason the sisters from Australia received was the original story she made here in America. " I am sorry for the long delay in responding, My husband threw me out of my home, destroyed the fabric, and I have no where to go. The masjid wont help me so I am currently in a womans shelter, I lost my own clothing as well as my machine and my money, I am using a public computer for responding, I will contact you again soon". After this response she simply deletes and blocks the people on her phone and facebook pages. In Camden Nj she went by the name Nisa or Al-Nisa, She currently lives in East Orange but her sites have been quiet since Aug. She recently got married and I am in talks with a once close personal friend of hers who has spoken out against this crime of stealing against the woman many trusted.

Umm Niqaab scam artist

Many of us who live around the Phila, NJ, NY, DE,MD area know who UmmNiqaab is, She is the sister who is all over facebook selling her niqaabs, jilbabs and other clothing. She started off her business with a very clever story. I was thrown out of my house by my ex-husband, all I have is this sweat suit and so I am sewing and selling these Niqaabs to get back on my feet. She had a co-wife named Layla who defended Umm Niqaabs actions that we will discuss. She goes by  Umm Niqaab, Zubaydah Waheed, Niqabi Art, and her born name Melinda Wright. I personally know of atleast 10 sisters who got scammed by her. If your a first time customer she will send your order, if you order again then this is when your bound to be ripped off. I personally know of a sister down south, I was in the family's presence when the  package of Umm Niqaab arrived. thereafter the sister ordered again, over $300 gone, no response from Melinda Wright.
Melinda Wright even came into a sisters home, the sister said she was acting so suspicious, looking around, checking her phone every 2 minutes, making excuses why she needed cash only, up front and then the sister said something that was really odd. Melinda Wright came in a mini-van driven by a man, she never lifted her niqaab up, she made the sister uncomfortable in her own home. Only after the talking to me did she come to realize she been scammed. She said I ordered from UmmNiqaab, I said shes a thief, and the first thing the sister said was her actions in her home. I said many have gotten ripped off from her. so another $200 Melinda Wright got in a haram way. She will tell you she lives in Newark NJ, Phila and outside of Phila.  She has had a few brushes with the law for this in NJ, she wont take heed. If Anyone knows her, contact us, the sisters who are getting ripped off for trying to support local muslims are sick and tired, its because of people like MELINDA WRIGHT, that none of us want to support muslims.
